This is a family owned coffee farm in Matas de Minas region, a micro-region of Caparaó, capable to produce specialty origin coffees because of its micro-climate location. The coffee plantation differentiates from the rests because of the lush green forests surrounding the area, gentle temperatures and excellent annual precipitation. The coffee farm lies at 1250 meters above sea level. The family-oriented coffee farm effectively works the micro-lots soil to consistently improved quality and yield to improve quality of life.
The coffees produced on this property are hand-picked, washed, separated, and dried in a suspended beds. The coffee has a bright aroma with citrus notes; the flavor is sweet with notes of caramel, delicate acidity with hints of spices and grapes in the lingering aftertaste.
The Catuai 44 and Caturra coffee varietals have been cultivated extensively for many years. Today the coffee farm is well managed, considered one of the best farms of the region, as they placed among the top 5 winners of the Matas de Minas quality contest in 2017.
